A 50-year-old Ouzinkie man has died from injuries suffered last month in an ATV accident.

James A. Broaten was hurt when his ATV rolled May 23 in Ouzinkie, a Spruce Island village near Kodiak, according to Alaska State Troopers. A U.S. Coast Guard helicopter flew Broaten from the scene of the crash to a Kodiak hospital.

He was being treated at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage before his death on Friday, troopers said in a report posted online.
