I'm seeing some Facebook posts from friends about dogs eating dangerous food left on the trails at the unleashed University Lake dog park. Does anyone have a first-hand report they can share?
I haven't been able to confirm these reports, but this is what I've heard so far:
A woman's dogs ate some snack-size candies that were scattered in the woods, and the dogs ended up in critical condition at the vet's.
And a report from last week about a chicken carcass found with sharp pins stuck in it.
I've sent a note to AACCC but haven't heard back yet.
