All this good weather and I have not recommended any whites! What have I been thinking? It's not too late. The 2012 Dashwood Sauvignon Blanc is from Marlborough, New Zealand's most famous region for Sauvignon Blanc. It's fresh and vibrant gooseberry/grapefruit are New Zealand hallmarks. This one is positively juicy with great mid palate weight and acidity. Quite a generous wine for the money, serve on the deck with friends. Costs about $15.
