Leadoff batter Zac Ferntheil scored four times and got a hit in each of his five at-bats Thursday to spark Service's 11-5 American Legion victory over East at the Kosinski Fields.
Ryan Bailey's run-scoring double helped Service to a 2-0 lead after one inning, and Brandon Sakumoto's two-run single highlighted a five-run sixth inning.
Pitcher Matt Yandell struck out seven and allowed two runs over six innings for the win.
East got a boot from Justin Tapey, who had two hits.
