Letter: Redistricting board lacks sense

I am probably only paranoid that the fine people on the redistricting board are gerrymandering but why was my polling place moved? As of the last election cycle, I must drive past my old polling place and another polling place one mile up the road from that. As I wave to my friends who are casting their votes at these two polling places, I must drive another four miles, to the top of Bear Valley, to vote.

I would think that the redistricting board would have a map of the polling locations and draw the districts around these locations, considering mountain ranges and rivers that divide our beautiful state. I am sorry but the state should put people on these boards who know how to think and reason — unless they can and are indeed gerrymandering.
