Letter: Is steamrolling the public the redistricting board's goal?

Why all of sudden the haste in redistricting? Shouldn't the public have at least several weeks to consider plans, listen and consider the comments of others? Why so many plans?

Going from a dead stop to absolute haste with little notice appears to be an intentional dilution and steamrolling of the public so the board can pick whatever they want, but then that was the reasoning behind the plethora of plans and haste.
