Letter: I know you are, but what am I?

I have now been called both a moron and a ninny by Paul Jenkins, whose juvenile rhetoric belongs more in the schoolyard than on the editorial page.

I would like to point out that, although the NRA ignores this, the Second Amendment has a prefatory clause, “a well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State,” which would imply that the authors of that amendment would have seen some regulation as not being an infringement of the people’s rights to bear arms.

So, Mr. Jenkins, if you’re going to call me names, just remember that I’m rubber and you’re glue, whatever you say bounces off me and sticks to you.
