The artist known as Baked Alaska is returning to his hometown to create a new video or two. His agent calls him a “music act, comedian, viral video maker, reality persona and a prankster.... the combined spawn of Weird Al, Lonely Island, Borat and Jackass.” 

The "Baked" part of the name isn't intended to suggest the fact that he now works in Southern California, but appears to refer to slang for becoming intoxicated by smoldering substances.  

And he’s unsigned, meaning he has to toss his stuff out onto the internet and hope it’s good enough to get some attention. In that department, he’s not doing badly. His debut “Alaskan Vacation” came out on April 20 and has garnered more than 8,000 views on YouTube. Check out his work at
