State land auction earns highest gross sales since 2007
(Anchorage, AK) – The State of Alaska's annual settlement land auction earned the highest gross sales since 2007 during Wednesday's sealed-bid opening. Alaska residents committed nearly $2.4 million in high bids for 95 of the 473 available parcels.
The Department of Natural Resources may include some of the unsold parcels in the upcoming Initial Over-the-Counter drawing. Residents and non-residents can apply to purchase parcels offered in the IOTC drawing from July 24 to September 11. For more information, visit the Land Sales website at http://landsales.alaska.gov.
