Unalaska police blotter

Animal – Juvenile eagle squawking in caller's yard after crash-landing into a pole. Caller reported the juvenile eagle's parents were on scene in the yard.

Animal – Caller reported a dead cat in the roadway. An officer responded and found no dead feline, only a motley collection of Bald Eagles.

Theft – A man flagged down an officer and reported that a camera had been stolen from his company vehicle several months earlier, and his wife's purse was stolen from her personal vehicle a few days earlier. The person who allegedly stole the camera told the officer he intended to replace it sometime soon.

Animal – Protest about perpetual problems with pets pooping on plots other than their own.
