Apply by September 11 to buy a state land parcel

(Anchorage, AK) – The State of Alaska released more than 2,600 acres across 378 parcels statewide for sale to the public in the State of Alaska's Initial Over-the-Counter (IOTC) Land Offering on Wednesday.

Residents and non-residents can apply to purchase parcels, which range from 0.92 to 36.31 acres in size and from $2,600 to $72,800 in price. The list of available parcels and application forms are available at DNR Public Information Centers in Anchorage and Fairbanks, the Juneau Public Land Counter, and online at http://landsales.alaska.gov.

The application period is open until 5 p.m. on September 11. A drawing will be held the following week. In addition to the IOTC offering, approximately 800 parcels statewide covering over 6,000 acres are available for immediate purchase.
