PND Engineers announces new hires, professional achievements

PND Engineers, Inc., is pleased to announce the following new employees and professional achievements in its Anchorage and Palmer offices.

Ellen Hamel, P.E., S.E., and Chad Malone, P.E., were hired as senior engineers. Hamel is a registered professional structural engineer in Alaska and holds a professional civil engineer license in Wisconsin. She holds a Master of Science degree in structural engineering from the University of Colorado and a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Tufts University. Malone is a graduate of Montana State University and brings 12 years of experience in civil and structural design on a wide range of projects.

Michael Beauvais, E.I.T., completed his Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering and was promoted to staff engineer focusing on structural engineering design. He is a lifelong Alaskan and a recent graduate of the University of Alaska Anchorage.

Kara Raber was hired as accounts payable and payroll technician. Raber has an associate degree in accounting from UAA and more than three years of accounting and payroll experience.

David Bentti, P.E., earned a Professional Engineer registration in Alaska and was promoted to senior engineer. Bentti holds a Master of Engineering degree in civil engineering from the University of Utah. He has been with PND since 2010, focusing on structural engineering projects.
