Former UAA center Paul Crowder, who spent most of last season with ECHL Wheeling, has signed an AHL deal with the Milwaukee Admirals, the team reported today.

Crowder, 28, who is entering his fifth pro season, furnished Wheeling with 23-39--62 totals in 68 games last season. He also played five games for Milwaukee (two assists) and a couple of games for AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. All that came after he started the season with a six-game gig in Austria before returning to North America.

Crowder has played 102 games in the AHL and 161 in the ECHL.

Also, forgot to mention this earlier in the week, but former Alaska Aces defenseman Tyson Marsh, 29, is returning to the Cardiff Devils in the Great Britain-based Elite Ice Hockey League. He earned 6-23--28 totals in 52 games for the Devils last season. One of Marsh's teammates again will be former UAA defenseman Mark Smith, who is entering his fourth season at Cardiff and his fifth campaign in the EIHL.
