Disney released a trailer this week for its new documentary, "Bears," about a mama brown bear and her two cubs living in Alaska. The film, which follows Disneynature's 2012 documentary "Chimpanzee," will open next Earth Day, April 18, 2014.

The trailer is set to American Idol winner Philip Phillips's song "Home" and describes the world of bears as somewhere incredible, beautiful and unpredictable. The narrator says the bears' journey is a "story all parents share about the love, the joy, the struggle and the strength it takes to raise a family."

The LA Times reports the film is directed by Keith Scholey and Alastair Fothergill, the directing duo behind Disneynature's 2011 film "African Cats," which was Disney's 2011 Earth Day entry narrated by Samuel L. Jackson.
