Suppose I invited a movie club to meet at my house every week to watch family-friendly movies. Suppose that over time, the club members decided that family-friendly movies weren't exciting enough, and decided to select movies that I would never watch myself. So wouldn't it be appropriate for me to tell the club that they are welcome to continue to watch their movies but they will have to meet somewhere else?
Anchorage Baptist Temple did not leave the Boy Scouts; the Boy Scouts left Anchorage Baptist Temple. It was appropriate to tell them they can continue meeting but would have to do so somewhere else.
