Mackenzie Smith was a one-woman blockbuster show at a three-team gymnastics meet Friday night at East High.
Smith, who competes for Eagle River High School but trains with Denali Gymnastics in Wasilla, dominated the meet, winning every event and taking the all-around with nearly a five-point margin.
Smith, Eagle River's only gymnast, totaled 34.15 points and was particularly strong in floor exercise, posting a score of 9.35.
East, led by Anna DelValle, took the team victory.

South 19, East 0
Sabrina Ungaro scored touchdowns on the offensive and defensive side of the football Friday to lead South past East 19-0 in a Cook Inlet Conference flag football game at Anchorage Football Stadium.
Ungaro helped the Wolverines to a 7-0 third-quarter lead by picking off a pitch and returning it 25 yards. In the fourth quarter, she rushed 15 yards for another touchdown.
Ungaro's 12 pulls led a South defense that riddled East with interceptions by Ungaro and Amanda Roberts and three batted down passes by Claire Lovering. The pick by Roberts set up Haley Hakala's 10-yard touchdown run.
West 17, Eagle River 7
Anna Sophia-Roberts scored two touchdowns and Natalie Manske scored a safety and had four pulls Friday night at AFS to spark West's 17-7 CIC flag football victory over Eagle River.
Eagle River struck first for a 7-0 halftime lead when Lauren Frost connected with Tara Fischer for a 20-yard touchdown.
Manske put the Eagles on the scoreboard with a third-quarter safety, and then West took over in the fourth quarter. Sophia-Roberts break loose for a 16-yard scoring run and scored again on a 75-yard pass from Annie Rush. Rush helped out defensively with seven pulls.
Frost came up with five pulls and three interceptions for Eagle River, which played with nine girls.
Jordan, Boggs dominate
Chugiak's Ty Jordan and Eagle River's Nikki Boggs posted decisive victories Friday in a CIC cross country meet at Chugiak's Beach Lake Trails.
Jordan won the 5-kilometers boys race in 17 minutes, 23.3 seconds, and Boggs won the girls race in 21:42. Jordan's margin of victory was 34.1 seconds, Boggs' was 45.5 seconds.
