Letter: Obama has no proof on Syria

I am opposed to any military action in Syria at this time. President Obama's claims that Assad is responsible for the chemical attacks but has not presented any proofs that I'm willing to believe. And his saying, "Trust me on this," does not engender a high degree of believability for me. There are too many equally credible reports in the international press that shows the rebels may be responsible for the chemical attacks for the purpose of discrediting Assad's government with disinformation.

In addition the United Nations has not yet issued its report as to what really happened. Should things change and additional proofs come forward then I might be willing to reconsider my opinion but as of this time I don't want to see us involved any further in Syria.
