Bailly, Jordan top CIC cross country standings

South's Kaitlin Bailly and Chugiak's Ty Jordan hold the lead in the Cook Inlet Cup cross-country running standings, Bailly holding a comfortable lead in the girls division and Jordan holding a narrow lead over the boys.

Bailly's 87 points are 29 better than the 58 accumulated by East's Grace Graham and 36 ahead of Dimond's Erica Heil (51).

With 71 points, Jordan is just one point ahead of South's Derek Steele (70). East's John Farr is third with 52 points.

Points are awarded based on performance in each contested meet this season. The next meet is the Skinny Raven Urban Race on Thursday at the west end of the Delaney Park Strip at 4 p.m.
