PBS explores effects of climate change on Native Alaskans

"PBS Newshour" this week is broadcasting a three-part series called "Arctic Thaw," reporting "how Native Alaskans are coping with the cascading effects of climate change on their subsistence lifestyle." Here's Part 1 from Barrow, where coastal erosion and the receding ice pack make the area "the frontline of global climate change," says Ignatius Rigor, a climatologist from the University of Washington.
