Two people were found dead and another was reported missing Tuesday on the Yukon River, troopers reported.
The bodies and debris from a boat were found about 10 miles downriver from Alakanuk, the trooper report said. Identifications were not immediately released.
Boaters found one of the dead on a river bank and the second floating in the water. Both were wearing life jackets, according to the troopers report.
"A search revealed debris from a boat and investigation determined that one other person was unaccounted for," a dispatch said.
