Interior man arrested on state, US warrants

Law enforcement officers have arrested a Fairbanks man on outstanding state and federal warrants.

The U.S. Marshals Service said in a release that 40-year-old Etienne Devoe was apprehended early Friday morning in a Fairbanks residence.

He was wanted on federal drug conspiracy and money laundering charges and state drug charges. He had been on the run since being indicted on the federal charges in July.

The arrest was made by the U.S. Marshals Alaska Fugitive task force, with help from the Alaska Statewide Drug Enforcement Unit and Fairbanks police.
