UAA (3-1-0), coming off a weekend split in Fairbanks which it lost 6-2 to Western Michigan and generated a comeback 3-2 OT win over Denver, gained a few more points in one national poll today.

UAA is unranked in the poll released today, but tallied 50 points, up four from last week. Even so, the Seawolves were third among "others receiving votes,'' down one spot from a week ago.

Minnesota (4-0-0) is No. 1. Notre Dame (4-0-0), which includes goaltender Steve Summerhays of Anchorage and winger Austin Wuthrich of Anchorage, is No. 2. And Miami (Ohio) (3-1-0) is No. 3.
