YWCA of Alaska Receives Purse Donations from KeyBank For Annual Fundraiser:

Gifts collected at annual Key4Women Forum

Guests at the annual Key4Women Forum on Oct. 10 donated gently used purses to the YWCA of Alaska to be auctioned at its Women of Achievement event on Dec. 5. Proceeds will fund the YWCA youth empowerment program.

The Forum is one of the signature activities of Key4Women, a national program that helps women entrepreneurs, professionals, nonprofit leaders and consumers achieve their goals by providing access to capital, ongoing education and networking opportunities. Since 2005, KeyBank, through Key4Women, has loaned $6 billion to women-owned companies.

"The YWCA has such an important mission – one that resonates with the women business owners who attended our Forum," said Key4Women's Tracey Thomas. "We are delighted to play a small role in making a big difference in the lives Alaska youth."

Key4Women Forum guests came together to hear Karen Hough, CEO and founder of ImprovEdge LLC and Amazon best-selling author, with an energetic presentation on effective negotiation and how women can make the most of their personal and professional potential.
