Alaska Quiet Rights Coalition presents "Northern Limits Expedition", 7-9 p.m., BLM Campbell Creek Science Center, 5600 Science Center Drive. The public is invited to attend the Alaska Quiet Rights Coalition annual meeting special presentation of "Northern Limits.". Experience an epic journey, a 4,000 mile human-powered expedition from the Pacific Rainforest to the Chukchi Sea. Presented by Caroline Van Hemert and Pat Farrell. Free to the public. Archery 101, 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Kincaid Park Annex Bunker, Raspberry Road. Have fun learning to shoot target archery for free. Youth/adult instruction with emphasis on safety. Little Nordic Ski Club, Kincaid Outdoor Center, 9401 Raspberry Road. A class for children to learn to country ski. No experience is necessary. Choose evening or Saturday practice. Practice locations may change according to snow/weather conditions. Skiers need to provide their own equipment. Parent meetings are held the first meeting of the session. Anchorage Masters Program, Kincaid Outdoor Center, 9401 Raspberry Road. Alaska Nordic Racing will continue to build on their repertoire of drills, increased level of fitness, and introduce new methods like filming for technique feedback. The Anchorage Snowmobile Club meets at 7 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month at the IBEW Hall, 3333 Denali St. They discuss upcoming rides, snow conditions, and all things sleds. The Club sponsors rides through out the winter- family, intermediate, and advanced skill, day and multi-day rides. They also put on technical workshops and survival training classes.
