Voting is open to the public for the next class of inductees in the Alaska Sports Hall of Fame.
Members of the public can cast their votes at alaskasportshall.org/election/public-vote-2013/ until midnight Dec. 4.
The Hall of Fame honors individuals, events and moments. For a vote to count, you must select five individuals, three events and three moments. The website includes brief bios on previous nominees in each category that you can choose from, plus you have the option of one write-in vote for each candidate.
The accumulated results of the public vote will count as one of 10 votes in the final selection process. The other votes come from the Hall of Fame's nine-person selection committee. Members of the selection committee review the results of the public vote before casting their own votes.
