RIM Architects, LLC has announced that Krista Phillips, AIA, NCARB, a principal of RIM’s Alaska office, has accepted a firm-wide position of principal of marketing and human resources. For the past five years, Phillips served as the company’s human resources principal, focusing on design staff resource management, performance and recruitment. In that role, she strategized recruitment and cross-location work-share opportunities between all four RIM locations. In her new role, she provides firm-wide marketing leadership and HR strategy regarding talent management. She will maintain a key business development role in Alaska in client development/relations and strategic project involvement. Krista joined RIM Architects in early 2005 and became a Principal of the firm in 2008. She has over 21 years of experience in architecture, bringing her expertise and creative design strategy to a broad array of projects, emphasizing the relevance of quality design. Her professional experience includes practice in a wide variety of settings within the United States, Europe and Australia. She holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia, and a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Kentucky.
