The ECHL's South Carolina Stingrays finally joined the rest of the circuit tonight -- they lost a game in regulation.

South Carolina's 4-1 loss to visiting Florida made the Stingrays (9-1-2) the last of the league's 22 teams to lose in regulation.

Both clubs are off to terrific starts -- South Carolina owns a .833 winning percentage and Florida (10-2-2) checks in at .786.

In the West, the Alaska Aces (10-3-0 after tonight's 5-2 2 win over Las Vegas) and Ontario Reign (8-1-4) are tied atop the conference with 20 points each.

Ontario won tonight, 4-2 at Bakersfield, to drop the Condors to 1-10-1. They are last overall in the league.

Meanwhile, Idaho rookie winger William Rapuzzi of Anchorage bagged the game winner tonight in a 3-1 win at San Francisco. He owns 2-11--13 totals in 12 games.

And former Aces center Bobby Hughes racked two goals for Fort Wayne for the second straight night in a 4-3 overtime victory against Greenville. Hughes has all five of his goals in the last three games.
