Letters: ACA provisions answer questions

For the people who are moaning about wanting to keep their health care insurance, I suggest that they look at the fine print in their policy. What is the point of paying for a policy that does not give you the benefits of the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare)? Does your old policy pay for most of your hospital costs, should you suddenly find yourself in one? Does your policy assure you benefits for the rest of your life? Can you still get a policy if they find out that you have a pre-existing condition? Will your policy pay for at least 38 preventable health care services? If you have low income will your policy give you a lower premium? Will your policy pay for your children under the age of 26? If you are a female is your insurance company charging more than they charge a man?

The Affordable Care Act does all of the above so remember that you get what you pay for.
