Letters: Parnell out-bads Murkowski, Palin

About half a century ago I voted for our first governor, Bill Egan, and have participated in every subsequent general election. Some of the governors since have been good, some mediocre and some just plain bad for the state. For some time I thought Frank Murkowski was the worst and then Sarah Palin came along. She started off pretty good, fizzled out and then went rogue.

Her replacement, our present governor, seems bent on antagonizing everyone but his fellow ideologues and financiers. His lack of compassion and common sense is appalling, as evidenced by his latest fiasco: rejection of Medicaid. In my estimation, as a governor bad for the state, he takes the cake.
