AACCC Adoption of the Week: Meet Mikey

Here's Anchorage Animal Care and Control's Adoption of the Week, courtesy of Brooke Taylor, AACCC public relations coordinator.

Please meet Mikey, an adult, neutered male, American Bulldog mix. Strong, focused and alert, Mikey is curious and likes to explore on his walks, but handles fine on leash, especially after some exercise. He's active and intelligent, knows to sit politely for a treat, and likes playtime and interacting with people. He's lived happily another dog and with children, but will be too big and bouncy for small kids. He will enjoy an active home that can provide him with training, exercise, and things to do. Very handsome fellow! Special thank you to Southside Animal Hospital for providing his neuter surgery free of charge, reducing his adoption fees by $80! Mikey now can be adopted for $42, as he is also current on vaccinations, which includes his MOA dog license and microchip.

Adoption update: Gorgeous is still available.
