Tyler Miknich scored a goal and an assist for Service, which led 3-0 after two periods. Lathrop's Chad Horn scored midway through the third period to make it a two-goal game and Josh Clifton's strike made it 3-2 with 16 seconds left.

Jacob McVay and Leo Karcz scored Service's other goals. The goals by McVay and Miknich came on the power play, as did Horn's.

Dimond 7, West Valley 2

Josh Larson and Desmond Conley each scored two goals Saturday at Ben Boeke, powering Dimond's 7-2 nonconference hockey win over West Valley.

West Valley's Stoshie Skorulski scored twice in the first period to give his team a 2-1 lead, but Dimond shut out the Wolfpack the rest of the way.

The Lynx, whose first-period goal came from David Knightes, took control with four goals in the second period -- two by Larson, one by Conley and one by Aidan Teilborg. Conley and Spencer Penman added third-period goals.

Chris Gardeline made 17 saves in the win. West Valley's Lane Wood stopped 24 shots.
