Voters, before you sign the legalize marijuana petition, please ask five high school or junior high teachers if they see a positive or negative effect of this drug on their students.
Then ask five elementary teachers if they think elementary age kids will have easier access to pot if legal grow operations spring up in the state.
Then inquire of a few state legislators if the excise tax from possible legal sales will outweigh the health problems from smoke inhalation, impaired driving and possible birth defects.
