Leary joins Alaska Communications' management team

Alaska's leading broadband solutions provider, today announced that Linda Leary, a longtime Alaska business leader and sales executive, will join its management team as senior vice president, sales.

Leary will lead Alaska Communications' top line growth. She brings to the company more than 25 years' leadership and sales experience in the state, most recently serving as President of Carlile Transportation Systems, Alaska's largest asset-based trucking and logistics company.

Leary has extensive experience in leadership roles in Alaska, and currently serves as chair of the Alaska Railroad board of directors, and as a director on the Rasmuson Foundation board of directors, a leading Alaska-based philanthropic foundation. She holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Maine and a master's degree in Global Supply Chain Management from the University of Alaska Anchorage.
