High school bowling: Esteban's 226 helps Dimond dominate

Dimond's Ryan Esteban rolled a 226 to notch the high score Thursday in a high school bowling match at Eagle River Bowl, where the Lynx swept boys and girls matches with South.

Esteban beat out Eagle River's Bobby Leibbrand (225) by one pin for the high game, helping the Dimond boys dominate South 29-6.

South's Brooke Buskirk bowled a 212 to lead all girls, but the Wolverines fell 27-8 to Dimond. Toni Hansen of West was the only other girl to break 200. She rolled a 201, but the Eagles were destroyed by Eagle River, 33-2.
