Su Valley and Unalakleet both sweep in state volleyball finals

Su Valley and Unalakleet each swept their way to state volleyball titles Saturday at Dimond High, Unalakleet completing a second straight undefeated season in the process. 

Unalakleet won its second straight Mixed 6 title, completing a 25-0 season with a 25-22, 25-14, 25-17 sweep of Golovin in the championship match. 

Su Valley claimed a Class 2A title by sweeping Unalaska 25-19, 25-16, 25-21. 

Craig took third and Dillingham took fourth in the Class 2A tournament, which started Thursday. Noatak was third in the Mixed 6 tournament, with Nikolaevsk nabbing fourth.
