A sensible congressional compromise on the budget … Finally!
I am very happy to see a longer-term compromise to solve this budget problem in a practical, politically viable manner. Very sensible given the differences in ideology on either side of the aisle. Bravo, Sen. Begich, Rep. Ryan and Sen. Murray!
Too many Alaska military and civilian employees would be further hurt by across-the-board sequestration budget cuts. I hope both the House and Senate pass this soon.
