Woman dies from injuries suffered in Thursday collision on O'Malley Road

A 29-year-old woman died Saturday from injuries she suffered in a collision Thursday night on O'Malley Road, Anchorage police said.

Ponesi Tufi was a passenger in a sedan that collided with a pickup near Livingston Street, police spokeswoman Jennifer Castro said in an email Monday. The driver of the sedan and two passengers in the backseat, as well as the driver and two passengers in the pickup, were taken to a hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening, police said.

The collision remains under investigation.
