Mayor Dan Sullivan has given a 1.5 percent pay raise to the city's executive appointees and to city employees who aren't represented by unions.
The pay hike, effective Jan. 13, mirrors raises that the Sullivan administration recently awarded several public employee unions.
However, Sullivan noted in a brief interview last week that his executives took a 5 percent cut in 2009, the year he assumed office.
And, he said, the executives have received far smaller raises over the last several years than most other city employees.
The city has an estimated 130 executive employees, and 459 non-union employees, according to numbers provided by a spokeswoman for Sullivan.
