UAF snuffed 3-0 at Bowling Green

UAF got bageled for the first time this season tonight, falling 3-0 in a WCHA game at Bowling Green.

The Nanooks were outshot 34-16.

Bowling Green junior standout Ryan Carpenter made his season debut -- he was injured in the preseason, then injured again when he was pretty much ready for his season debut -- and scored a goal. Also notching goals were Bryce Williamson and Adam Berkle.

Davis Jones stopped 31 shots for the Nanooks.

UAF's second straight loss dropped it to 8-10-3 overall and 5-9-1 in the WCHA.

Bowling Green (12-9-4, 9-6-2) moved into a second-place tie with Minnesota State-Manakto, which plays on the road against UAA in about one hour from now.
