Not being a very coordinated cross-country skier, I hesitate to skate-ski near unleashed dogs or dogs with 6-foot leads. One recent Sunday, one actually jumped over my skis to get back to its owner. Please put pets on short leashes and keep them right next to you on trails used by skiers, bikers, joggers, etc. It's just too busy and an accident can result in injury.
I hate to wonder how many insured recreational users out there have the $5,000 and $6,000 deductible. That's the real damage unleashed dogs can do!
