Prep boys basketball: Friday's results

Bartlett 50, Dimond 47

Bartlett outscored Dimond by 10 points in the fourth quarter Friday to rally past the Lynx 50-47 in a Cook Inlet Conference boys basketball game at Bartlett.

Judah Manuel connected on 6 of 9 shots for a game-high 18 points to lead an otherwise balanced scoring attack by the Golden Bears. Bradley Johnson hauled down 11 rebounds, and Bentiu Panoam sank 6 of 9 to lead a strong Bartlett showing at the foul line.

Dimond led 41-34 after three quarters, but Bartlett owned the final eight minutes.

Muhamad Cole's 11 points and Austin Osborne's 11 rebound led the Lynx, who shot as many free throws as Bartlett -- 32 -- but hit 11 of them to Bartlett's 21.

East 60, Eagle River 51

Eudy Gomez sparked East with 22 points, six rebounds and five steals on Friday, leading the T-birds past Eagle River 60-51 in a CIC boys game.

Desmond Johnson aided East's cause with 13 points, seven rebounds and six assists.

Thomas Jones sparked Eagle River with 11 points.

Grace 58, Glennallen 50

Alex Fancher's 13 points topped a balanced scoring attack that fueled Grace Christian's 58-50 boys basketball win over Glennallen on Friday in Anchorage.

Luke Offord and Josh Laker each added 11 for the Grizzlies.

Scoring honors went to Glennallen's Cameron Peters, who pumped in 26 points.
