Prep girls basketball: Friday's results

East 60, Eagle River 28

Lowa Lei Suaava dropped in a game-high 18 points Friday to help East grab a 60-28 Cook Inlet Conference girls basketball victory over host Eagle River.

Nine players scored for the T-birds.

Samantha Coy led Eagle River with 10 points.

Dimond 62, Bartlett 45

Rohyn Huss posted a double-double and Tara Thompson scored a game-high 21 points Friday, lifting Dimond to a 62-45 CIC win over host Bartlett.

Huss provided 12 points and 13 rebounds for the Lynx, who took command with a 20-12 third quarter. Thompson did her damage on 8 of 12 shooting. Vanessa Tufaga tallied eight steals, and Justin Anderson added 10 rebounds and Dejha Canty grabbed eight to help Dimond to a big 62-47 rebounding advantage.

For Bartlett, Kiera Stokes tossed in 15 points and Nadine Fraker turned in nine points and 13 rebounds.

Glennallen 35, Grace 27

Aridna Dougall scored 13 points and Kendall Maslen netted 11 on Friday, boosting the Glennallen girls to a 35-27 win over host Grace Christian.
