The Alaska connections for NAHL Top Prospects Tournament

Alaska has 11 connections heading to next month's NAHL Top Prospects Tournament in Troy, Mich. -- six skaters from the Fairbanks Ice Dogs and five from the Kenai River Brown Bears.

Two of those dudes are Alaskans too -- Kenai River Brown Bears forward Conor Deal of Anchorage and Fairbanks Ice Dogs forward Colton Wolter of Fairbanks.

The tournament, which the league said last season drew more than 170 scouts from NHL teams and college programs, is set for Feb. 17-18 and will include five teams of players made up from NAHL rosters.

The Alaskans on the Midwest Division team are as follows:

Defenseman Stefan Vincent of the Brown Bears (4-7--11 totals and +4 rating in 32 games).

Defenseman Jake Davidson of the Brown Bears (5-6--1 totals and -2 rating in 40 games).

Forward Colton Wolter of the Ice Dogs (12-21--33 and +23 in 41 games).

Forward Kyle Lee of the Ice Dogs (12-17--29 and +5 in 42 games).

Defenseman Nick Hinz of the Ice Dogs (2-15--17 and +29 in 43 games).

Forward Brett Gervais of the Ice Dogs (13-13--26 and +15 in 43 games).

Forward Conor Deal of the Brown Bears (4-8--12 and -8 in 35 games).

Forward Lonnie Clary of the Ice Dogs (8-17--25 and +15 in 41 games).

The Alaskans on the NAHL 18U Selects are as follows:

Defenseman Wyatt Ege of the Ice Dogs, a UAA recruit (1-12--13 and +11 in 42 games).

Forward Sebastian Fuchs of the Brown Bears (8-18--26 and +2 in 38 games).

Forward Nathan Colwell of the Brown Bears (6-10--16 and -6 in 33 games).
