Boys basketball: Monday's CIC results

East 81, South 77 OT

Powered by three double-figure scorers, East stopped South 81-77 in overtime Monday in a CIC thriller at South.

Eudy Gomez registered 13 points, nine rebounds and five steals, Brandon Harrell racked up 16 points and five rebounds and Brayton Keith pumped in 22 points for the T-birds.

Jared Hudson dropped in 22 points to lead South. Jake Swanson added 14 points and Kyle Rochon chipped in 10.

Dimond 60, Eagle River 53

Austin Osborne sparked Dimond with 26 points and 12 rebounds Monday, powering the Lynx past Eagle River 60-53 in a Cook Inlet Conference boys basketball game at Eagle River.

Osborne shot 50 percent from the field, hitting 10 of 20 shots. Muhamad Cole added 10 points and five assists for Dimond.

Eagle River, which was limited to five points in the third quarter, got 16 points from Thomas Jones and 13 from Collin Metzel.

West 55, Service 47

Isa Wilson scored nine of his game-high 19 points in the first quarter Monday to help West fend off Service 55-47 in a CIC boys game at West.

Don McMorris and Brandon Huffman each scored 12 points for the Eagles.

Ihro Raguindin sank three 3-pointers en route to a team-high 13 points for Service. Reece Robinson added 10 points.

Bartlett 63, Chugiak 52

Five players reached double figures for Bartlett in a 63-52 win over Chugiak in a CIC game Monday at Bartlett.

Cage Freelove's 14 points led the way for the Golden Bears, who also got 12 from Payton Fulmer, 11 from Bentiu Panoam and 10 apiece from Marquis White and Judah Manuel.

Chugiak led 33-25 at the half, but Bartlett took command with a 23-7 third quarter that featured seven points apiece from White and Fulmer.

Alex Huss topped Chugiak with 14 points, Zion Burgess chipped in 11 and Zech Philbrick 10.
