We noted Tuesday that the Alaska Aces are about to embark on a brutal schedule, which starts Friday with three games in three days against the visiting Stockton Thunder, who the Aces also play twice here next week for five games in seven days.
In all, the upcoming stretch, road and home, has the Aces playing eight games in 11 days, and 11 games in 16 days, with two travel days back-and-forth between California in the mix.
Only fair, then, to note that the Thunder don't have it easy either.
Stockton lost 4-1 last night in Bakersfield and tonight plays in Ontario, then Thursday travels to Anchorage.
The Thunder will play five games in six days (with a day of travel, no less), six games in eight days, seven in 10 and, when their wicked stretch is complete, eight games in 12 days (and that includes flying back and forth to Alaska).
Everyone better get their sleep, eat well, take their vitamins -- and hope for the best.
