Anchorage firefighters respond to Chugiak home fire

Anchorage firefighters battled a stubborn blaze for nearly four hours in Chugiak Wednesday that partially collapsed a home's roof, said a fire department dispatcher.

Crews received a call around 3:38 p.m. about a fire on the 1200 block of Grasser Road, dispatch said. Six units from the Eagle River and Muldoon stations responded with multiple Chugiak units.

No injuries were reported. The fire was out at 7:29 p.m., dispatch said.
