Here's where the Aces stand historically at the two-thirds pole

Doyle Woody,Adn Staff

The Alaska Aces' 4-2 loss today at Ontario came in Game No. 48 for them this season -- that's the two-thirds pole of the ECHL's 72-game regular season, though, granted, the folding of the San Francisco Bulls means the Aces will only play 71 games in this regular season.

In any event, the Aces hit the two-thirds point at 32-13-3 for 67 points. That's about where Rob Murray's club has been in all three of his seasons -- last season, the Aces had 69 points at this point and two seasons ago they had 68.

They still lead the league in winning percentage, .698 to Ontario's .696.

Here's how the Aces stack up to previous editions of the club at the two-thirds mark:

2013-14 – 32-13-3, 67 points

2012-13 – 32-11-5, 69 points

2011-12 – 31-11-6, 68 points

2010-11 – 27-19-2, 56 points

2009-10 – 23-21-4, 50 points

2008-09 – 27-18-3, 57 points

2007-08 – 24-20-4, 52 points

2006-07 – 33-13-2, 68 points

2005-06 – 38-7-3, 79 points

2004-05 – 29-15-4, 62 points

2003-04 – 27-17-4, 58 points
