Bergman returns to Sitka to serve as bank branch operations supervisor

Chris Bergman has returned to First National Bank Alaska's Sitka Branch to serve as the bank's Operations Supervisor. She will supervise the daily deposit activities at the branch. The bank's Board of Directors announced Bergman's appointment and move to the Sitka Branch, effective February 16.

Bergman lived with her family in Sitka for 18 years, seven of those working at the Sitka Branch. She moved to Anchorage in 2008 where she served in a branch leadership position for the past five years.

"It's exciting to be coming 'home' to Sitka where my husband and I raised our family," Bergman said. "I look forward to bringing my banking expertise to the Sitka team where we'll work together to provide our neighbors the quality banking services they've come to expect from local, knowledgeable Alaskans."

Alaskan-owned and operated since 1922, First National proudly meets the financial needs of Alaskans with ATMs and 30 branches in 18 communities throughout the state. Forbes named the bank one of the nation's Most Trustworthy Companies in 2012 and 2013.
