The deadline to register to vote in the upcoming municipal election is Sunday, March 2.
Election day is Tuesday, April 1, the Office of the Municipal Clerk said in a release Monday.
New voters or voters who need to update their registration information can find information on the Alaska Divisions of Elections website at elections.alaska.gov/ot.php or by calling 522-8683.
Voters must be 18 years old by election day and need to update registration information to reflect their current addresses, the clerks office said.
Applications for absentee voting are available at muni.org/elections or by calling 243-VOTE.
Early voting will start on March 17 at City Hall and the Loussac Library. On March 24, the Chugiak Senior Center will open for early voting.
