Crabb racked an AHL hat trick Wednesday

Anchorage winger Joey Crabb has been buried in the AHL most of this season -- granted, while drawing an NHL salary -- and Wednesday night he produced his biggest game of the season: He scored all the goals in San Antonio's 3-0 win at Utica.

Crabb's hat trick was the third of his AHL career and gives him 12-12--24 totals and a +1 rating in 50 games for the Rampage. Wednesday, he was +1 and scored on three of his four shots.

Crabb is making $600,000 this season in the AHL because the Florida Panthers last offseason signed him to a two-year, one-way deal for $600,000 this season and next season. That means Crabb makes the 600K whether he's up in the NHL or down in the AHL.
